All over the Internet, people like you create content, form communities, like to control and to customise services. You're connected with your world using RSS feeds, Twitter, Facebook and use all sorts of apps and devices.
Like us, you are increasingly busy, keeping up to date with your interests and what your friends are doing via SMS, emails, feeds, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn is challenging! We found having to actively read all these things across many different services using a PC or mobile got to be time consuming, and not always possible, like when we're driving.
What if, you could regularly listen to everything and everyone you’re in to, all together?
We're developing a new service that enables you to listen to everything and everyone all together, ensuring you are up to date without having to read updates. It works by bringing together your text based SMS, emails, news feeds, status updates, wall posts, tweets, blogs etc and converting them to speech. You can then listen to the audio on your PC or mobile with regular updates. You can also mix the audio with your own music to create your own “radio show” that you'll be able to personalise online.
Well after a good few months of developing the concept and some initial proof of concept code, myRad.io is in a good shape. Over the coming weeks we'll be able to give updates about funding, partnerships and development progress.
The goal for the couple of weeks is to get some live demo's up and running. We'll announce this when they're up.
With this simple site we've got an RSS feed set up to track these news items and if you want to get in touch drop us a line using the contacts form at the bottom of the page.
